AGI’s view of Apprenticeship
For many years there has been apprenticeship training in various forms and in several trades in Ghana. However, these apprenticeships have been conducted informally with no standardized training or learning. Master trades persons who are responsible for training apprentices have themselves not received any structured apprenticeship training, and for most part have very little or no theoretical training included in their apprenticeship journey.
